COVINGTON, Ky. — A Cincinnati man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl that ultimately resulted in an overdose death, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
Juan Wesley McKenzie Jr., 25, was sentenced Friday, Sept. 11, by Chief U.S. District Judge David Bunning to 300 months in prison for distribution of fentanyl resulting in death.
According to court documents, McKenzie supplied fentanyl pills to Andrew Rossi, who distributed portions of the pills to Steffany Keene. Keene later sold several pills to the victim, who consumed them and died from fentanyl toxicity…
