CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A 19-year-old was arraigned Tuesday for his alleged role in a triple shooting in Avondale in June.
Lysias Yarbough is accused of shooting someone at the corner of Reading Road and Hutchins Avenue on June 6. According to court papers, two others were also shot but it doesn’t appear that Yarbough is charged with shooting them. One of the victims suffered serious injuries, according to Cincinnati Police at the time of the shooting.
The Cincinnati Fire Department also responded to the shooting scene because a stray bullet struck the gas meter of a cell phone store on the corner. Firefighters were able to shut off the gas.
