A meteorite from Argentina sits among fossils from Morocco, jade from Siberia and petrified wood from Arizona inside GeoRarities, a small rock shop tucked inside Essex Studios in Cincinnati’s Walnut Hills neighborhood.
For geology enthusiasts at the University of Cincinnati, the shop offers a chance to find something unusual without spending much money. Rocks and minerals start at around $1, while the store also carries fossils, jewelry, crystals and larger pieces for more serious collectors.
