Less than a week after a Boone County High School teacher was placed on leave for allegedly distributing a puzzle to students that contained a racial slur, some students are coming forward saying it was likely a mistake.
On Sept. 24, the Boone County Schools issued a statement to the media that said “an inappropriate word search puzzle that included a deeply offensive racial slur was distributed to students by a teacher in a classroom.”
