Why did police conduct a well-being check at Darnell Walker’s home?
NEWPORT, Ky. (WKRC) – A man is charged with arson for allegedly starting a fire at a Newport home while he, police officers, and others inside.
Police were called to a home on Ann St. on Aug. 17 for a well-being check on Darnell Walker after he was apparently involved in an argument with others in the home and barricaded himself upstairs.
While officers were trying to get him to come out, they say he threatened to “blow up” the home with everyone inside. Officers then saw smoke and fire coming from the second floor…
