An Ashland City man had one of his first days in court in Dickson County.
Timothy Durand, 46, of Ashland City, was arraigned on Wednesday, May 13, in the Dickson County Circuit Court in Charlotte on charges of murder, tampering with evidence and false reports.
Durand was indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday, April 7. According to redacted presentments obtained from the Dickson County Circuit Court, Durand allegedly “engaged in criminally negligent conduct,” resulting in a death, sometime between Thursday, May 2, 2024 and Friday, May 3, 2024; tampered with evidence sometime between May 7, 2024 and Wednesday, May 8, 2024 and gave false statements about the crime to investigators on Friday, May 3, 2024…
