Residents of Cheatham County have now joined the ranks of Dickson, Hickman, Sumner and Williamson Counties in welcoming unexpected visitors.
Over the last week, multiple residents of Kingston Springs reported seeing a black bear roaming their neighborhoods – and coming a little too close to homes.
On Thursday, June 11, Kathy Powers, who lives on Martin Court, watched a black bear walk up on her deck, check out her flower pots and bird feeders then mosey over to her neighbor’s yard. Powers said the bear didn’t appear to be aggressive, just lost and confused…
