You may have been startled by emergency alert text messages and phone calls warning of severe flooding on Thursday morning.
According to Todd County Emergency Management Director Ash Groves, several people received the automated alerts regarding active flooding in Clark County, Kentucky. Officials confirmed that these notifications were sent in error.
