Christian County’s unemployment rate sits at 5.1%, see how it compares

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County has a higher-than-average unemployment rate as compared to nearby counties and the state. During their most recent board meeting, the Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Council discussed what these number means for the region.

Once a month, SWK EDC Executive Director Carter Hendricks shares updated unemployment rates for the counties in the area, with Christian County consistently ranking the highest as reflected in May’s report. Below is the data that was presented to the board during the June meeting.
