NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A six-year-old girl is the latest victim to die in a hot vehicle in Tennessee. The tragedy comes just days a child was found dead inside a vehicle in Cheatham County.
While speaking with News 2’s sister station in Memphis, WREG, Bryan Jones said his daughter—Winter—was full of joy. The six-year-old girl, who reportedly had autism and was non-verbal, was left abandoned inside a hot bus on Thursday, Aug. 13, when the heat index reached 110 degrees.

Winter’s uncle stated Kid University Daycare in Cordova was supposed to take his niece to her elementary school that morning, but she was never taken off the bus when it arrived at the school.
