Clarksville, Tennessee – A family of three has been displaced following an early morning fire that engulfed their home in Clarksville. Units from Clarksville Fire Rescue Battalion 1, including Stations 8, 10, 9, and 1, were dispatched to the scene at the 600 block of Corinth Ct. at 8:26 am on February 15, 2024, after reports of a structure fire.
The homeowner was alerted to the blaze by a popping sound emanating from the garage. Upon investigation, flames were discovered, prompting a swift evacuation. Fortunately, the homeowner escaped without injury.
Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy smoke billowing from the garage and attic of the residence. The fire was successfully brought under control by 8:57 am, preventing further spread to neighboring properties.
The American Red Cross is currently on-site, providing assistance to the displaced family, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources during this challenging time. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
