A longtime law enforcement leader in Dickson County has passed away after a years-long battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication.
The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office announced the death of Criminal Investigations Division Captain Trevor Daniel, who had been battling glioblastomas for nearly four years.
Captain Daniel had been with the sheriff’s office since 2000 and brought a total of 30 years of law enforcement experience to his career. Over his 26 years with the department, he served in a variety of roles, including patrol deputy, field training officer, detective, SWAT team member, K-9 handler, and most recently as captain of the Criminal Investigations Division and a terrorism liaison officer…
