Brian Kerr Jr., the Tennessee man charged with murder in the death of an Illinois man in Christian County in 2024, entered a guilty plea in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning.
Kerr entered a guilty plea to first-degree manslaughter, amended from the original murder charge, and that comes with a recommended 15-year sentence. Kerr pleaded guilty to his role in the shooting death of 37-year-old Dmytro Sebeniuk of Des Plaines, Illinois, which happened on December 28 of 2024 at the Pilot Travel Center off of Pembroke-Oak Grove Road.
Judge John Atkins accepted his plea of guilt, and Kerr will not be eligible for probation…
