PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A memorial bench that was removed from Dunedin during Hurricane Helene in 2024 was found on a beach in Bermuda, more than 1,100 miles from Dunedin.
The bench, in honor of Medhat “Mike” Sadiku, originally sat on the Dunedin Causeway two years ago before the storm ripped it out and carried it into the Gulf.
This year, it was found on a beach in Bermuda by a woman there. She contacted the Sadiku family through social media to let them know. She also sent the family pictures showing where the bench is currently sitting…
