As housing prices continue to rise in Ohio, many of Cleveland’s homes remain affordable

CLEVELAND — The cost of housing and renting is the largest living expense that many share. Housing prices in Ohio continue to rise, but the homes are still considered affordable.

According to data from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, home sales have been on the decline since the start of the pandemic, dropping 24% between 2019 and 2024.
