MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Officers witnessed a vehicle driving recklessly as it exited the Golden Gate Plaza around 10:45 p.m. Aug. 23 and appeared to be chasing another vehicle.
They followed both vehicles onto Interstate-271 and watched as the trailing Honda went onto the shoulder to pass another vehicle and then crashed into the rear of a BMW.
An investigation revealed that the driver of the Honda, a 27-year-old Cleveland woman, had been having an affair with the driver of the BMW and became irate when she saw him at Planet Fitness with another woman. Therefore, she crashed into him with her car, which was registered to her fiancé…
