Traffic on Interstate 90, from just west of Center Road/state Route 83 in Avon to just east of Detroit Road/Route 254 in Rocky River, will switch to a new traffic pattern the week of April 27 as a multiyear, multimillion-dollar construction project continues, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.
Westbound traffic will be shifted into a crossover pattern so crews can work on expanding and resurfacing the westbound lanes of the project, ODOT said in a news release. Two 11-foot lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction with portable concrete barriers separating traffic.
Interstate 90 westbound will split into two lanes with the left lane crossing onto the eastbound pavement and the right lane remaining on the westbound pavement. All westbound exit ramps will remain open, but only motorists in the right lane will have access to exit ramps…
