Student dies from self-inflicted gunshot wound at Valley Forge High School, Parma City Schools confirm

PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Parma City School District confirmed to 3News that the female student who sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Valley Forge High School on Monday afternoon has died.

According to a district spokesperson, “an incident involving a firearm occurred at Valley Forge High School” at approximately 2:10 p.m.

Parma Heights police say officers from its department and the Parma Police Department “immediately responded and found an 18-year-old student with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”…
