City of South Euclid now officially positioned to take part in May 7 auction for Notre Dame College property

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — The city announced in a release issued Friday (May 1) that it has officially submitted its qualifications to be considered a bidder for the former Notre Dame College campus property that will be auctioned May 7.

The announcement came a day after City Council approved the city making a bid for the 48-acre site at 1857 S. Green Road. It marks, according to the release “continued progress in the City’s evaluation in the future of one of the community’s most prominent and historically significant properties.”

On April 22 it was reported that a “stalking horse” bid was made for the NDC property for $7.5 million by the combination of Seven Wells LLC, of New Jersey, and Yeshiva Derech Hatorah, a yeshiva school in Cleveland Heights…
