UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District confirms it has laid off 21 employees to help address a projected budget shortfall.
In a press release issued late Thursday afternoon, the district said it will be making at least $5 million worth of budget cuts over the next two years. As part of those cuts, a total of 32 workforce positions have been eliminated, including a number of teachers:
