Strong thunderstorms threaten Northeast Ohio Saturday afternoon with hail, damaging winds

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Forecasters are warning of potentially strong thunderstorms across parts of Northeast Ohio Saturday afternoon and evening, with damaging winds and hail among the primary concerns.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland said there is a marginal risk of severe weather, the lowest level on its five-tier scale, but still capable of producing isolated storms with impacts between mid-afternoon and late evening.
