OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio — Reports of an individual attempting to lure students into his vehicle Tuesday caused the Olmsted Falls City School District to contact families through the parent portal to ensure student safety, according to superintendent Jim Lloyd.
At least two attempts took place, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with one of the attempts being reported as taking place along Sprague Road. The man trying to lure children was using candy as an offer and was driving a grey/black colored van.
“Our Transportation Department has reported the information to Olmsted Township Police who are investigating,” Lloyd said in a statement. “We have also advised all of our bus drivers of these reports so they are aware.”…
