City Planning Commission to hear appeals on ‘Project Taurus’ AI Data Center

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — The City of Colorado Springs confirms that appeals against the development of “Project Taurus,” a proposed AI Data Center, will be heard by the City Planning Commission at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 23.

The following notification was sent on June 29 to the appellants according to the city:

After seeking comments as required by Code, regarding the appeals of the administrative decision for Development Plan Modification of Corporate Ridge Filing No. 1 Lot 4 (also known as “Project Taurus”), the appeals will be heard by the City Planning Commission at 9AM on Thursday, July 23, 2026. City Planning staff are working with the City Planning Commission to solidify ground rules and procedures for the hearing, which will be shared with the appellants and applicants as soon as possible.
