COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) announces that K9 Koa will receive a bullet and stab protective vest from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9S, Inc.
CSPD says Shána Leeper sponsored the vest, and it will be embroidered with the sentiment “In memory of Beverly McIllwain”.
