COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — A Colorado Springs woman is still in a coma after she was allegedly hit by a car that drove off on Monday night.
The alleged pedestrian hit-and-run happened Monday, September 21, on Galley Road near North Academy Boulevard in east Colorado Springs. The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) says it is still looking for the driver.
The victim, Tamara Morris, moved to Colorado Springs a couple of months ago, according to her friend, David Huerta. He says he had been helping her find a place to live, a job and a car. That was until the unthinkable happened…
