(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A local domestic abuse survivor shared her story with FOX21 ahead of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October and hopes her experience may be able to help others.
“How many women and children need to be murdered in order for somebody to wake up and go, ‘hey, the real problem is when it starts, not when it ends up as a national headline,’ and Domestic Violence Awareness Month helps with that,” said Mary Elizabeth Fabian-Redding.
