(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Blue Star Families launched its newest chapter in Colorado Springs on Thursday, Oct. 1, bringing the nation’s largest military and veteran family support organization to serve the hundreds of thousands of military veteran families across the region, helping them build connections, access resources, and find a sense of belonging in one of the nation’s largest military communities.
Blue Star Families is launching the Colorado Springs Chapter as part of its broader national expansion strategy, giving military families the chance to connect with one another, engage with the local community, and access programs and resources that support military families, such as career development workshops for military spouses, peer support circles for caregivers, and assistance with food or economic challenges.
“Space Force’s top leadership requested we bring our newest chapter to Colorado Springs, one of America’s great military communities, home to airmen, guardians, and soldiers,” said Kathy Roth-Douquet, CEO of Blue Star Families. “With thousands of military-connected families relocating to the region each year, the need for connection and community is significant. We are proud to launch this chapter and deepen our commitment to helping military and veteran families build meaningful relationships, access support, and feel at home wherever military service takes them. We invite the entire Colorado Springs community to be part of that effort.”…
