Living Wright is once again supporting Richland County’s Ag + Art Tour by hosting a tour site. This year the team is highlighting Chestnut Community Garden, a two-year-old project that is growing fast.
Robert Wright Percival and his father, Dupre, founded Living Wright in 2015 to give back to the local community that had long supported them. They honored Reverend Dr. Robert Wright Spears, Robert Percival’s grandfather and namesake, by establishing The Living Wright Foundation in 2021 to address local food insecurity. Reverend Dr. Spears was a United Methodist Church minister and president of Columbia College.
Through partnerships with Harvest Hope Food Bank, Zion Lutheran Church, Richland County First Steps, and other local groups, the non-profit organization’s founders provided over 426,000 meals to children, seniors, and the homeless…
