For one weekend only, a former glass warehouse slated for demolition will become Columbia’s “Stomping Grounds.”
“Stomping Grounds,” a new two-day music and film festival, will debut June 13 and 14 at 2022 Marion St., transforming the industrial site into a temporary cultural destination, and it plans to do the same at a different venue each year, creating hubs for live music, independent film, visual art and community gathering out of unexpected spaces.
The festival will also feature food, beverages and local vendors in collaboration with Soda City Market, as well as an afterparty on Saturday evening by Folk Tech, one of the festival’s presenters…
