RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — Residents near McEntire Joint National Guard Base may hear loud noises and explosions between June 10 and June 16 as part of a scheduled military training exercise.
Officials said U.S. Army Corps of Engineers demolition personnel, hosted by the 169th Fighter Wing, will use conventional explosives to create simulated combat craters on an unused taxiway.
