COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – A hearing scheduled for Monday afternoon in Columbia could determine whether Darlene Dunmeyer-Roberson remains on the Charleston County School District Board of Trustees.
The hearing comes after Gov. Henry McMaster issued an executive order earlier this month beginning the process of removing Dunmeyer-Roberson from office following an investigation by the South Carolina Office of the State Inspector General.
According to the governor’s order, Dunmeyer-Roberson faces three allegations: improperly disclosing executive session information, sharing confidential district information with outside parties, and improperly helping her former campaign manager in a district procurement matter…
