Richland County man accused of removing ankle monitor, fatally stabbing victim

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – Authorities in Richland County said a man removed an ankle monitor from a prior arrest after fatally stabbing a victim late Tuesday.

The Richland County Sheriffs’ Department said 18-year-old Jaylon Holmes was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

RCSD said the charges are linked to an incident on Mononglo Cricle, where an assault was reported at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Responding deputies reportedly found a man stabbed multiple times in the upper body…
