COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-The hot weather isn’t going anywhere, even though heat index values are expected to dip slightly over the next few days. It will still feel very hot, with heat index values remaining in the triple digits, but they are currently expected to stay below Heat Advisory criteria.
Rain chances return just in time for the Fourth of July weekend, but they remain very low. That means most of the holiday’s fireworks display will likely come from the man-made variety rather than Mother Nature.
