COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Fort Benning will look a little different starting Saturday, August 8, as their on-post stray animal facility will undergo an operations transition.
According to Fort Benning officials, Animal Park Rescue will serve as the interim operators of the facility starting Saturday. While the facility will be closed to the public, Animal Ark Rescue will continue to ensure the animals at the facility are properly cared for.
