A few storms won’t stop the heat

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The heat will build over the coming days with each day getting a little hotter through early next week. While some occasional showers and storms are possible, our hottest stretch of weather is likely to take hold of the region.

A mix of sun and clouds Wednesday with a chance of showers and thundershowers at any time. Rain coverage around 30 to 40%. There may be a little breeze. Otherwise, it will be hot and muggy. Highs climb into the low to mid 90s with feels like temperatures starting to exceed 100 degrees.
