COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – It’s always hot in the summer, let alone August, but our hottest stretch of the summer is kicking off and expected to last through next Friday. Each day, highs are expected to reach 95 to nearly 100 degrees. With the humidity, it will feel even hotter.
Mostly to partly sunny Thursday. Hot and steamy with highs in the mid 90s and feels like temperatures near 105 degrees. Spotty showers and thunderstorms are expected to return, similar to yesterday, during the afternoon and early evening. Rain coverage is around 30%.
