Columbus police urge drivers to stay off phones during distracted driving awareness month

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Distracted driving is one of the fastest-growing traffic safety issues, according to the Georgia Department of Driver Services.

Studies show in Georgia and Alabama, more than 100 people die each year because of distracted driving.
