COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Jason Meade, the former Franklin County deputy who was convicted in the shooting death of Casey Goodson Jr., may get a third trial.
A hung jury forced a mistrial in 2024, but a second jury convicted Meade of reckless homicide just last month.
In both cases, jurors could not agree on a murder charge, leaving open the possibility that Meade could face a third trial.
