COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – U.S. Marshals are renewing their push to find an inmate who escaped from an Ohio prison nearly 40 years ago.
Gordon Eugene Lambert went missing from the Orient Correctional Institution in Pickaway County on Aug. 24, 1987, at age 32. He was in prison for shooting at police officers while committing a robbery, according to a June news release by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Lambert began serving his six- to 25-year sentence for aggravated robbery and felonious assault in 1984. He would now be 71 years old…
