COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Ohio-built Honda and Acura vehicles landed among the most American-made cars and SUVs in the country, with four models produced exclusively in the Buckeye state earning spots on the 2026 Cars.com American-Made Index.
The Honda Accord and Acura Integra, built in Marysville, and the Acura MDX and RDX, built in East Liberty, all ranked in the top 20. The Accord and MDX also made the top 10.
The recognition comes as Honda marks the 50th anniversary of the Accord in the U.S. The Accord, which Honda calls the first automobile it built in America, returned to the top 10 in its anniversary year after first being built in the United States in November 1982…
