COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Two brothers were in court Monday, facing charges related to a shooting that left a person in critical condition following a July 4th fireworks celebration.
Eighteen-year-old Elvis Oppong and 19-year-old Derrick Oppong had their bonds set at $1 million each. They are charged with second-degree felonious assault.
Westerville police said the shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. Friday, in the area of 428 County Line Road, where people had been parking for the event.
