COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — People in Columbus’ Short North Arts District said they were startled late Saturday night when groups began throwing lit fireworks onto streets and sidewalks in the neighborhood.
“They were lighting fireworks and just throwing them,” said Ariel. “I jumped out of bed, it scared me, it startled me.”
Joe said he and Ariel watched the fireworks from their second-floor apartment as they lit up the Short North. “I don’t think they hit anybody,” Joe said, “but they were definitely out to terrorize the neighborhood.”…
