Will Ohio’s biggest races have debates? It’s no longer a given

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Attack ads are already flooding Ohio televisions, but it’s unclear whether voters will see the candidates for the state’s top-tier races debate each other.

Neither of Ohio’s marquee statewide races — a U.S. senate contest and the gubernatorial race — has a debate on the calendar.
