COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus Humane is welcoming a new leader while continuing its mission of helping animals like Bunny find loving homes.
Carol Spychalski recently stopped by Good Day Columbus for Fur Baby Friday during her first weeks as the organization’s new CEO. Alongside her was Bunny, a gentle 13-year-old mixed breed dog searching for a quiet home to spend her golden years.
Bunny came to Columbus Humane after her owners experienced health challenges and could no longer care for her. Shelter staff say she’s a calm, sweet senior dog who enjoys slow walks, politely accepting treats, and spending time people-watching with volunteers. She has lived with other dogs and would do best in a low-key home with calm companions…
