Is the fix in? The Plain Dealer has reported on Attorney General Dave Yost’s planned early exit June 7 from his position (“DeWine picks Public Safety Director to be Ohio’s new AG,” May 12).
As we all know, Yost supported the prosecution of former First Energy executives Chuck Jones and Michael Dowling, whose first trial on House Bill 6-related bribery charges ended in a hung jury. Is Yost’s departure the first step in Jones and Dowling getting a “walk” on a retrial? That would be a huge miscarriage of justice…
