A man was cited by police after he was seen riding a motorcycle on an Orange County sidewalk with his 2-year-old daughter sitting in his lap.
Santa Ana police said that the incident happened recently on 1st Street. They said that neither the man or his daughter was wearing a helmet.
“Motorcycles and e-bikes can be a fun and convenient way to get around, but it’s important to know the laws and understand the safety risks before you ride,” Santa Ana PD said in a post on Instagram in which they shared body camera video of the traffic stop.
The child was unharmed police said, and “this father left with just a ticket” for riding the motorcycle on the sidewalk illegally…
