A Coastal Bend and South Texas native who spent much of his time growing up in the area has returned home, and is ready and willing to teach anyone who wants to learn or improve their golf game from Portland and surrounding communities.
On June 27, the Northshore Country Club in Portland announced Carlos Moreno as the club’s newest Head PGA Golf Pro at the club, located at 801 Broadway Blvd. in Portland.
According to Moreno, he is a Coastal Bend native who has returned home. Moreno said in an introductory Facebook post June 27 that he is a proud Corpus Christi native, and that he’s excited to come back home for a chance to pour into the golf community he said shaped his life and his passion for the game…
