In the town of Sinton, America, residents remain glaringly proud of their city. Each accomplishment, no matter who or what it’s for, brings a rush. That spirit recently emerged again with the accomplishments of a local little league softball team.
The Sinton Little League Senior Softball team won the Texas East state championship on July 13, punching their ticket to the regional tournament in Broussard, Louisiana. Sinton was slated to play in the Southwest Regional Tournament from July 19-22.
Sinton defeated Channelview 17-4 in Game 1 of the state tournament on July 10, then took down Houston East End 12-1 on July 11 before beating Channelview again on July 13 to win the state title. It is the second time in the last three years they have made it to regionals…
