Tri-County EMS has inherently aimed to provide Ingleside, Aransas Pass, and Ingleside on the Bay with emergency services in a previously under-served area for decades. Now, they have another life-saving tool at their disposal to help do just that.
On July 21, it was announced Tri-County EMS now has the ability to carry supplies of whole blood in their emergency vehicles — allowing them to administer pre-hospital care if the situation calls for it.
According to a video posted on Facebook, Tri-County EMS Director/CEO Carrie De Leon said Tri-County EMS has been working with community medical partners for a year to help bring the service to Tri-County EMS vehicles.
