At least two more days are scheduled in the upcoming continuation of Corpus Christi Mayor Paulette Guajardo’s removal hearing, two weeks after petitioners seeking her ousting presented their case.
Guajardo’s defense against the claims made against her is expected to be the focus Aug. 6 and Aug. 7, and will likely include live testimony, before closing arguments are made by both sides.
At its conclusion, six City Council members sitting as a tribunal in the quasi-judicial proceeding will decide Guajardo’s future in office, at least in the immediate future…
